Yup, they're the ones.

Make sure you disable the enchants on you and team mate before you go in, and you'll do alot better.

Not sure, but I think I dont get damage off mind wrack, as the energy is set at zero all the time, it might hit once, but its the remove enchants that's the killer.

If you use [[purge signet] you do.

It's not supposed to be an amazing build. It supposed to be a /laugh build while sins kill themselves fighting you. At least thats how I play it.

It's meant to be fun, not "OMGZ I owz @l wiz ma sctzilzz!!"

On a side note, I had been kicked from several teams for not being a healer, before they even saw the build.

Is that some sort of... joke? Right? Is it a joke? Cuz it doesn't seem real.

3 pics seemed you ran into a noob.
2 pics you have 2 people having the exact text.

Anyways about the build. /fail I've seen this build three or four times in AB 1 time in RA. Three of those times I was playing monk.

Well basically, they went down fast. The damage output was average. My team was simply killing his/her team off. I was simply running to reduce damage. Then we killed the smite monk off. The other time I was in a toucher team. We snared it and it was like stepping on a bug. ("WTF, did I kill something?") A hammer wammo I find is a lot more challenging.

This build is like a glass sword. Sure it can cut, do some damage. But it is fragile, brake the glass with your steel sword and game over.

IT LACKS DEFENSE and HEALING. A very important part of staying alive for a monk. To top that, a monk is great at healing, which is good for keeping a team alive. You can't keep your team alive, your dead. This build is like a sin that uses a sword.
(LOL, reminds me of a Tae Kwon Do tourney. I was fighting this guy that was fast and his punches threw me off balance. But he wouldn't dodge any of my punches or kicks. I got more points and won because he have no defensive skills.)

In Conclusion, this isn't something to brag about. I kill many people with my toucher and yet touchers are called noob for being hard to kill because of Defense and Healing. This one I call a noob for being bad.

"I'M JUDGING THE BUILD, I'M NOT SAYING YOU SHOULD NOT PLAY IT. If your having fun, play it!"

On a build scale. 4/10.

@ Zodiac

Thank you for the input, just to clear up, the same comment from 2 chars, it's the same person who made a pvp monk to try it out, hence the same *whistle* text.

And I'm sorry you get called noob for being a toucher, I get it too when I use holy wrath, but there you go, have fun.

Losing Ancestral is a coded message that the build sucks really bad. The only zero energy build that can work in AB is a cripslash warrior that gives a monk life bond and succor, but even that is still pretty crappy.

We lost Ancestral because of my build? Wow, I didn't know it all hinged on me

Monks are great at healing right? They have 3 attributes in pure healing and protecting skills.
When I see a smite monk, I just laugh. That means that their team is a human target. Why waste healing when your strong point is healing? It's like a ranger with no Expertise. Or an Ele with no Energy Storage. I'm basically saying, it's a waste of talent. Also, one person does make a difference in AB.
EDIT: This was after the smite boons nerf. Before smiters boon, it's wasn't that bad.

Smiting is still a powerful skill line when it comes to defensive support.

I ran into a dual monk guild group in AB the other day, the smiter had everyone bonded with retribution and used empathetic removal as his elite. It still sucked, really think the only use of the smite template now is 8v8 formats when you can count on hitting a lot of people with smite hex and smite condition. Of course there are mob battles in AB, but in most situations it's weak..far better choices like cripshot or water for defense.

I'll be damned if this build ever manages to solo cap or kill someone 1v1/2v1, at most you might annoy someone enough so they attack you instead of someone else.

Anyway lower armour higher damage yes, but most teams never go into a match without a healer and anyway stupid enough to keep attacking when its hurting them is an idiot, meanwhile the hits they do get through will munch you so you'l spend more time spamming heal sig than attacking.
you do realize your talking about AB? You know the one place you can bring your pve builds and they work?

tbh, I bring stuff to AB that I'd never venture out into PvE with, like four shadowsteps, ha ha

Hey, it's not the worst build, but it is something that you shouldn't get excited about.

A person whispered after we killed their team and said, "What awesome build are you using?" For one, we were a toucher team, it's fun to play but not invincible. Second, the Defy Pain noob died in 7 seconds and had no idea why Defy Pain didn't work. Third, this "awesome" build 'fails' if you have a strong damage output team and a monk that knows what it is doing.

Basically, it doesn't matter if a person whispered you about your "Good build."

I remember I thought I was good back in '05 running a Mo/W like this except with Shield of Judgment and Healing Breeze with 2 sup runes.

Those were the days.
